Satyameva Jayate (transl. Truth alone triumphs; Hindi pronunciation: [sət̪jəmeːʋə dʒəjət̪eː]) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language vigilanteaction film directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The film features John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles. It is the second collaboration between Abraham and Bajpayee who previously appeared together on screen in Shootout at Wadala. It was released on 15 August 2018 along with Akshay Kumar’s film Gold.
The shooting for the film began on 5 March 2018 and it premiered on 5 April 2018.The official trailer for the film was released on 28 June 2018.The film was released on the 2018 Indian Independence Day.
